A Christmas Initiative for Mental Health Recovery in Ukraine

Support veterans' rehabilitation in Ukraine. CodeIT Innovation is raising 10,000 NOK to fund art therapy kits for rehab centers in Ukraine.

[Bergen/Lviv] This holiday season, CodeIT Innovation is starting a special Christmas fundraising campaign to support mental health recovery through art therapy at two important places: the Superhumans Center and the BRASS rehabilitation hospital in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Why Art Therapy?

Physical surgery is just one step in the recovery process. Many patients, including children and soldiers, also face deep psychological wounds from the war. The surgery and recovery departments at these facilities have urgently asked for Paint by Numbers kits.

These kits are an important form of art therapy. They help patients manage trauma, stress, and anxiety. Painting gives them the chance to:

  • Cognitive Focus: Offering a calm mental break from the hospital setting.
  • Emotional Release: Helping ease PTSD symptoms through creative activities.
  • Motor Skill Recovery: Supporting hand-eye coordination for people healing from limb injuries.

Our Mission: Supporting The Centers of Resilience

We are working with the well-known Superhumans Center, the largest rehab center in Ukraine, and the dedicated hospital in Ivano-Frankivsk. Our goal is to make sure recovery tools reach the people who need them most.

  • Superhumans Center: Helping the busy surgery department as they work to rebuild lives.
  • Ivano-Frankivsk Rehabilitation BRASS: PIvano-Frankivsk Rehabilitation BRASS: Giving important psychological support tools to patients in long-term recovery in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.Future

We aim to provide 100 art kits, worth 10,000 NOK. This will meet the urgent needs of both centers for the next three months.

Each kit is more than just paint and canvas. It shows those who have given so much that they are not alone and that their mental health matters.
